Troubleshooting

Import did not start

• Make sure the extension is signed in (if required for your plan).
• Check that “Automatically start importing after crawl” is enabled.
• If a popup sign-in window appeared, confirm it is not hidden behind other windows.

Failed to connect

• Make sure you are online.
• Make sure you are logged in to NotebookLM.
• Open the extension on the NotebookLM webpage to verify it works there.

Missing pages

• Increase max depth or max pages to crawl in settings.
• Check include/exclude regex filters for overly strict rules.
• If the site is highly dynamic, try Smart Crawling.

Partial imports

• Increase “Max sources to import” if you hit the limit.
• If pages are short, they may be merged into fewer sources.

NotebookLM account mismatch

• NotebookLM uses the Google account active in your browser session.
• If the wrong account appears, switch accounts in Google or open NotebookLM in the correct Chrome profile.
